Rehabilitation Services
The Langlade Rehabilitation staff uses a team approach to meet your individual therapy needs. We work closely together with you and your physician to restore optimal function. With a state-of-the-art rehab center and a staff of 22 medical rehabilitation specialists, we're committed to providing you with the most progressive treatment in a highly professional manner.

Physical Therapy
Our friendly and caring staff offer personalized, one-to-one physical therapy sessions for patients with impairments, functional limitations, disabilities or changes in physical functions resulting from injury, disease or other causes.
Common conditions treated by Physical Therapy:
- Arthritis and Fibromyalgia, Balance Problems, Chronic Pain, Conditions requiring Aquatic Therapy, Hip, Knee, Ankle & Foot Problems, Neck and Back pain, Neurological Conditions such as Strokes, Shoulder Injuries, Sports Injuries, Sprains and Muscle Strains, Total Joint Replacements, Workplace Injuries
The Physical Therapy staff provides services to schools and industries that focus on injury prevention and management. Members of the staff are available to speak at community organizations and events.
Occupational Therapy
Occupational Therapy helps individuals of all ages learn or regain independence in work, place and self care – skills needed for the job of living. Through evaluation and treatment of physical, cognitive and social-emotional skills, therapists can help individuals achieve their goals to lead productive and satisfying lives.

Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation
Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation is designed to assist patients with heart and lung problems to improve their physical conditioning while learning ways to better their lifestyle. We provide exercise and education programs for adults diagnosed with:
- Heart Attack
- Emphysema
- Angioplasty
- Asthma
- Bypass Surgery
- Angina
- Congestive Heart Failure
- Bronchitis
Cardiac Rehabilitation has two major parts:
- Exercise to help you learn to exercise safely, strengthen muscles and improve stamina. We also provide graded exercise testing for the diagnosis of heart and breathing problems.
- Education, counseling and training to help you understand your heart condition, reduce your risk of future heart problems and adjust to a new lifestyle.
Our staff consists of Registered Nurses who have extensive critical care background and are certified.
Speech Therapy
Speech Therapy works with individuals who suffer from communication and/or swallowing disorders. There’s no age limit for a patient to benefit from therapy. Some conditions treated by speech therapists are:

- Articulation, Apraxia of speech, Dysarthria, Ataxia, Dyskinesia

Massage Therapy
Langlade Hospital offers a licensed massage therapist on-site for Massage Therapy. Massage Therapy offers relaxation and healing properties. Appointments can be made by calling 715-623-9449. Massages are a great way to reconnect with your body and take a ½ hour or an hour break.
